Where do those calendar pages keep darting off to? You know, if anyone used paper calendars anymore. :) I continue to lose track of time and find it increasing with the rise of the heat index.
These days, the top of my to-do list includes finishing up the pending house projects. We've lived here over 3 years now and have a vast assortment of projects either started or discussed so thoroughly, they should just finish themselves.
Once we heard we've got guests coming for a good portion of the holiday months, it was enough to push me into gear. Nothing like fear of heckling and humiliation of a partially finished dining room to spur on the creative urge!
The dogs are hating their new gated world but the middle dog has proven she has a knack for tail painting... Sadly, she is canvas averse and prefers carpets and the couch for her destined masterpiece. Baby gates are lifesavers when it comes to four legged helpers!
I've gotten lucky in a thrift store trek or two so simple remake/repurpose projects coming soon....I'll post before and after pictures if I can negotiate with Blogger for the insertion of said pictures. That and, um, Mother Nature? Could you turn the thermostat down a bit? It's just too flat hot out there to spraypaint!
