Not your "normal" girl

Last night at a monthly meeting, everyone was catching up on life stuff, including the traditional "what did you get from Santa?" question.  

I slunk deeper and deeper into my chair as it was clear my answer wasn't going to fit into the cookie cutter of responses in this group. 
Gleefully, fellow members boasted:

• Diamond necklace!
• Coach purse!
• My own Lexus!

You'll understand why my reply drew furrowed brows:

Ahem.   But it's what I wanted/needed, Santa!!!
